The CFBT Story
About our CrossFit Gym
CrossFit Bridge & Tunnel has been part of the Ridgewood fitness community since 2016. Whether you’re brand new or getting back on track, you’ll be welcomed, coached, and supported from day one. No ego, no judgement — just honest coaching and a crew that wants to see you succeed.
A Busy Life Shouldn’t Mean Putting Your Fitness on Hold
Between work, family commitments, and weekends that disappear in a flash, it’s easy to let your fitness slip — and before you know it, you’re wondering how to get back to feeling strong, confident, and like yourself again without losing even more time with the people who matter.
You don’t need a plan, a base level of fitness, or hours to spare — just one hour and the willingness to show up.
Coaching You Can Trust, Support You Can Feel
Our coaches invest in people, not just programs. From your first session, they’re learning how you move, what drives you, and where you want to get to — then coaching you accordingly, every single time.

Anthony Musemici
Founder | CF-L3
Anthony Musemici has been coaching since 1997 and has spent nearly three decades helping people build strength, confidence, and long-term consistency in their training. He began CrossFit in 2012 and founded CrossFit Bridge & Tunnel in 2015 with the goal of creating a gym where people are coached as individuals, not pushed through workouts.
Anthony’s approach is grounded in community, care, and accountability. He believes progress comes from consistent coaching, clear standards, and training that supports longevity. His coaching emphasizes movement quality, thoughtful progression, and meeting people where they are while holding them to meaningful, achievable standards.
Over the course of his career as an educator, Anthony has coached thousands of athletes and mentored hundreds of coaches. He is known for developing environments where people feel supported, challenged appropriately, and confident in the process. His work is practical, disciplined, and focused on what holds up over time.
Anthony’s credentials span CrossFit®, Olympic weightlifting, kettlebells, Spinning ®, and corrective exercise. His priority has always remained the same: coach the person in front of you with clarity, consistency, and care.
He coaches people, not workouts.

Ridgewood CrossFit gym FAQs
The questions we hear most from people standing outside the door, answered straight.
Do I need to be fit to start?
Not at all. Most of our members weren’t “gym people” when they walked in. Every workout is scaled to your current ability, so you start where you are and build from there. Your coaches are with you every step of the way.
What if I'm nervous or intimidated?
That’s completely normal — almost everyone feels that way before their first visit. You’ll be welcomed by name, coached with patience, and surrounded by members who remember exactly what that first day felt like. No ego, no pressure to keep up.
What does a typical class look like?
Classes are one hour. You’ll start with a warm-up, move into a strength or skill portion, then finish with a workout of the day. Your coach walks you through everything, adjusts movements to suit your level, and makes sure your form is solid before you add intensity.
What if I have injuries or physical limitations?
We work with people managing injuries, joint issues, and mobility limitations every day. Your coach will modify movements so you can train confidently and keep making progress without making anything worse.
How often should I train?
Most members start with 3 days a week and find a rhythm that works for their life. Consistency matters more than frequency — we’ll help you choose a schedule you can actually stick to.
Do you offer personal training and nutrition coaching?
Yes. You can do group classes, one-on-one coaching, nutrition coaching, or any combination. A lot of our members start with classes and add nutrition coaching once they’re settled in — that’s where the biggest changes tend to happen.
How much does CrossFit cost in Ridgewood NY?
We have several membership options depending on how often you want to train and what level of coaching you’re looking for. The best way to find out what’s right for you is to book a free intro — we’ll walk you through everything with zero pressure.
